Panchsheelschool participated in annual sports competition organized by tribal department of Maharashtra in 2017-2018. There are four levels of competition, they are center level, project level, division level and district level, Kho-kho, Volleyball, Kabbaddi, Handball are the games which played by teams and running relay, spear and ball throw are the games which are played individually. In the session 2017-2018, 47 boys and 24 girls participated in the center level competition which was held at Domatq. Dharni in September 2017. The students won this level (Big Award), they are able to participate in the project level compition.
Panchsheels 36 boys and 24 girls participated in the project level competition which was held in October 2017. In this competition there are age groups for teams. The age groups are 14, 17 and 19. Panchsheelschool won Final in Kho-kho competition of boys and girls. We also won Final Volleyball competition of boys. In individual competition RamnathKasdekar won in running race. He won the first prize in relay competition, Ku. Pratibha, Ku. Prerna, Ku. Nirmala, Ku. Sanjivani won the first prize in 200 meter running competition. Ku. Pratibha won the first prize. The participants who won the project level competition can participate in the division level competition which is going to held in November 2017 in Amravati. The school won this competition because the participants work very hard and did practice regularly.
We hope that we will definitely win the state level competition. Every year we win the state level competition of Kho-kho and volleyball. The participants who win the state level competition get the benefit of 25 marks in secondary and higher secondary certificate examination. The state level winner also get 5% reservation in government service. Every year near about 60 students take the benefit of this government skim. The founder of Panchsheel Ashram school Shri. BajiraoGawai sir always wishes that maximum students must participate in these competitions. He always tries to help, support and encourage all the players.
Shiva BabaraoMawaskar is the best player in Kho-kho in 2017 and the best player in Volleyball is Ku.MangrayChanchuKasdekar. Ku.PratibhaRamuKasdekar is the best player in Kho-kho. The performance of Panchsheelschool in the sports competition is always best and praiseworthy.
